Logitech launches QuickCam for notebook PC users

NEW DELHI: Logitech has launched a compact and portable USB camera designed specifically for notebook PC users. The price of the camera is Rs 6,950. With this camera users can add video to instant messenger services such as Yahoo! Messenger, MSN Messenger and AOL Instant Messenger (AIM), capture still photos and videos instantly and conduct video conferences from anywhere using Microsoft NetMeeting. Users can attach the camera to their notebook using the integrated mount that doubles as a lens cap and rotate the camera 360 degrees and get started with the simple software and plug-and-play USB connector. Users can send video e-mail and make video calls, add live images to their instant messages.



Broadcast live video over the web, create web albums or set up a web cam and can also keep an eye on things with video monitoring software.



The software that come along with the camera include one-click photo and video e-mail software, Webcam-enabled Yahoo! Messenger, SpotLife Personal Video Broadcasting, SpotLife Web Album Creator Software, SpotLife Web Cam Software, Microsoft NetMeeting and Logitech Smart Internet Updater.
