Logica launches innovation centre in B'lore

BANGALORE, INDIA: Logica launches the second in a series of Spark Innovation Centres in Bangalore.

The centre will demonstrate innovative wireless mobility solutions in a real environment, from intelligent transportation to interactive advertising. 

The centre, focussed around mobility and inaugurated by Andy Green, chief executive, Logica, and Logica’s Executive Committee, will demonstrate to customers the company’s innovative abilities and solutions.

The first centre was launched in May 2008 in Lisbon around the theme of 'Energy & Utilities'. A third innovation centre will shortly be launched in Amstelveen and will focus on ‘Payments’, with more centres planned in the months ahead. The Spark centres enable Logica to showcase its capabilities in identifying white spaces for innovation and the ability to develop technologies and solutions to address them.

Logica then partners with customers to build collaborative and innovative solutions based on business needs of today and tomorrow. In addition to working with customers, Logica will work with renowned universities around the globe to complete the collaboration cycle between industry and academia.
