Live demo of Cellnext's p-Business Gateway at ICT 2002

MUMBAI: Cellnext Solutions Ltd., a high-end wireless technology and solutions domain, showed a live demo of p-Business Gateway, world's first mobile middleware product based on non-invasive technology at the ICT 2002 in Mumbai.

p-Business Gateway was featured in IBM 2001 Solution Excellence Award. This non-invasive framework enables real-time access to mission-critical applications running on IBM iSeries systems, through wireless devices like mobile phones and PDAs and even fixed line and internet ready desktops. The framework uses a Sophisticated TN 5250 scraping technology, which slices the legacy application into presentation objects and application objects in the run-time.

Application objects can be then be value-added and integrated with other applications or databases, before rendering over mobile devices including WAP & SMS phones and also on fixed line phones and internet terminals.

Cellnext will closely work with IBM to support iSeries and ES/390 systems for web & wireless enablement of the applications running on them. Cellnext is an Advanced Level Participant in IBM's Partnerworld (IBM's Partnership Program) for integrating and developing solutions on IBM Hardware.
