BANGALORE: Liqwid
Krystal, a provider of software solutions for the online learning space,
today announced the launch of a corporate learning and assessment solution
called rRapid Suite. With this product, the company, which until now focused on
the international market, hopes to get a foot in the door of Indian IT
companies.
Explaining the features of the new product, Anand Adkoli, co-founder and CEO,
Liqwid Krystal, said, “rRapid Suite is relevant at three stages in an employee's
learning cycle-during corporate induction training, during the time on the bench
and while on projects. The solution has learning, assessment and certification
components and can be used to train employees on IT, business and soft skills.”
RRapid Suite is a platform, which is specifically decided for online
learning and assessment. It covers an extensive courseware of over 20,000
courses, 5000 books and 200 tests. The solution is integrated with CodeSaw that
enables hands-on learning of programming skills.
Adkoli said that current training processes does not have a structured format
and that Liqwid Krystal's new offering could help customers make their
employees billable as soon as they can. The company plans to offer flexible
engagement models for customers ranging annual subscriptions per user to an ASP
model. Adkoli also said that he plans to retail the software in the near future.
The company has deployed pilots of the new software in 23 companies of which
six IT companies have signed up. Five more customers are in the pipeline and are
expected to sign on in the next quarter.
On the revenue front, the company aims to close this year with $5 million.
Its 2005 revenues stood at $2.6 million.
