"We are excited to update the Citrix channel about our newest product release, Flex-IO, which represents a significant enhancement to our Partners' desktop portfolios," said Jason Mattox, CTO of Liquidware Labs. "This solution has specific use-cases in XenDesktop and XenApp environments that can extract major performance gains at a very competitive price point, and represents significant new business opportunities for the Citrix channel."

Flex-IO addresses two major bottlenecks in Citrix virtual desktop environments - IOPS limitations and latency. The solution installs as a virtual storage appliance and is simple and easy to administer from a central web-based management console. The software-based solution leverages existing storage and a nominal amount of host RAM to provision and host non-persistent virtual desktops. Flex-IO can be implemented in minutes compared to the time-intensive, complex, and high costs associated with implementing storage hardware.

ProfileUnity has long been recognized as providing robust User Management to replace less efficient approaches such as Roaming Profiles, Group Policies, and scripting. The latest version is faster than ever with new file-transfer intelligence built into the ProfileUnity desktop client. The updated client uses granular data logic to transfer only the smallest of delta file changes for a highly robust user experience by reducing logon times for most users to only seconds. Speed has also been further increased by enabling printer and drive mappings to be executed post logon.

Stratusphere UX continues to be the premier monitoring and diagnostics solution for Citrix virtual desktop environments, designed to complement Citrix EdgeSight to provide much more granular details of application processes and end user experience for proactive monitoring to prevent issues and to optimize systems for best performance.

"We are committed to enhancing our product roadmap to enable our partners to rapidly build their business, by facilitating their customers' adoption and expansion of Citrix VDI to many more users in their organizations," said Chris Akerberg, president and COO of Liquidware Labs. "These enhancements, combined with a margin-rich, sales enablement focused channel program, makes Liquidware Labs a very good bet for Citrix partners."
