MUMBAI, INDIA: Linksys has appointed Suresh Balasubramanian as its National Sales Director for the Indian market. In his role, Balasubramanian leads the sales operations throughout India and manages Linksys strategy for resellers and partners.
Balasubramanian plays a key role in maximizing growth opportunities in consumer market in order to position Linksys as a premium brand in India.
On Balasubramanian’s appointment Craig Gledhill, VP—Asia-Pacific, Linksys said, “Balasubramanian extensive experience and knowledge in the technology industry will be invaluable in driving our business in the consumer market. With wireless market booming in India, this appointment is very strategic and timely for Linksys to consolidate its market position with cutting-edge technology and products.”
Balasubramanian comes to Linksys with more than 14 years in the technology industry. He spent his past 10 years in various key roles at Microsoft Corporation and most recently served as the Manager, Business Planning and Operations. In this role, he was responsible for managing and growing the small and mid-market customer organization universe in India.
Additionally, he was responsible for cultivating and growing the ecosystem of channel partners focused on the company’s technologies and products.
Before 1998, Balasubramanian worked with Modi Xerox, where he spent four years as the Manager—Marketing, Supplies Group. Balasubramanian is based in New Delhi and reports to Craig Gledhill, VP—Asia-Pacific, Linksys.
