LinkedIn has announced new enhancements such as CRM sync, Gmail extension and discovery features on mobile App to Sales Navigator. This will help sales professionals build deeper relationships and make them professionally more efficient and effective, says the company.

Launched almost two years back, Sales Navigator is a social selling tool that connects sales professionals with qualified buyers or prospective leads.

Tom Lee, Senior Product Manager at LinkedIn in a blog post said, "Our goal for Sales Navigator is to be an important part of the daily lives of sales professionals, and we believe these enhancements will get us that much closer. Ultimately, we want to help sales professionals build deeper relationships by working smarter, not harder, and this reinforces our commitment to make them more efficient and effective every day."

Integration with Salesforce CRM: With this integration, CRM leads and accounts will automatically be imported into the Sales Navigator experience eliminating manual identification of lead and increasing overall efficiency.

Integration with Gmail: This will allow users to engage with their Sales Navigator insights inside the Gmail experience. Users can save a contact in Sales Navigator without having to leave their inbox manage their leads better and access LinkedIn public profiles and public contact information.

‘Discovery’ features on mobile app: More than 25% of users using the mobile Sales Navigator app and the new Discovery features on the Android and iOS mobile apps will make it easier for users to find new accounts and manage their leads while on the go.
