Like most online platforms, LinkedIn always keeps striving to improve its services. So, after launching two new features - e-learning and Open Candidates - LinkedIn will now be providing the option of Bookmarks, which helps you save the articles or news provided by the business icons that you follow virtually for later reading and perusal.
Though the company didn't make any official announcement, instead, it made a relevant gesture on its platform when a user complained about this issue.
In response to a user post that said “Posts should have a bookmarking option within LinkedIn, like Read Later”, LinkedIn India Head Akshay Kothari commented, "It’s coming soon. //cc Jeff Birkeland."
Jeff Birkeland, who has been tagged in response to the above, is the Director of Product at LinkedIn.
LinkedIn is the networking platform for professionals and is a useful source for receiving all kinds of updates from professionals and companies one follows. But amidst a plethora of information and news, sometimes one misses the track of relevant stories.
With the above comment, we can certainly hope that such a feature makes its way to the platform at the earliest.
