LinkedIn is hiring engineers for Bangalore R&D unit

BANGALORE, INDIA: LinkedIn, largest professional network has opened its first Technology Centre in Bengaluru, first office outside of North America.

With its opening of technology center in Bengaluru, India, LinkedIn also announced the appointment of Ganesh Krishnan to lead the company's engineering operations in India.

LinkedIn is seeking to hire for infrastructure engineering and operations roles like software engineers, operations engineers, data warehouse engineers, network engineers and data base administrators.

"Being in the business of connecting talent with opportunity, we are confident that the depth and quality of engineering professionals in India will spur the continued development of LinkedIn solutions for members across the world," said Deep Nishar, senior vice president, Products & User Experience, LinkedIn.

Before moving to India, Ganesh was based at the LinkedIn headquarters in Mountain View, California.

"India being a hub for engineering excellence, this centre is a confident step towards growing the global talent economy with professional tools to make our members productive and successful," said Ganesh Krishnan, Head, Technology Centre at LinkedIn India.

"Our immediate focus is to identify and recruit the best-suited candidates to drive operations at the centre. All open positions for the technology centre will be announced through the LinkedIn website.
