NEW DELHI, INDIA: LimeExchange, the socially-networked online services marketplace, has achieved yet another milestone by registering over 25,000 users in a record period of eight months since its global launch in July 2008. To acknowledge this milestone and to show their appreciation to its service providers who helped fuel this growth, the company is waiving all project-related fees and commission for a period of 90 days starting April 01, 2009.

LimeExchange features freelance professionals and small businesses specializing in areas such as graphic design, programming, copywriting, and business services - more than 20,000 talented service providers, in over 160 countries worldwide.

Businesses and individuals who are looking for resources on demand and an extended outsourced workforce can register and post a project free of charge, and receive proposals from talented professionals and small businesses that meet their criteria. Buyers can then choose the best proposal, negotiate terms of service, track and manage milestones and flexible payment schedules via a secure escrow account, all within the LimeExchange interface.

“LimeExchange's growth showcases the existence of demand for flexible work and global skills in today's economy,” said Pawan Agarwal, Head - India Operations, Lime Labs LLC.

Registration, posting projects, and bidding on projects is always free for both buyers and providers on LimeExchange, which is one element of its success. LimeExchange traditionally charges a payment-processing fee and a transaction fee to cover the cost of fund transfers and operating costs. For the 90-day period, the company will waive both the transaction fee and the payment-processing fee for any project awarded during this period.
