Lifetree along with a consortium of partners including Sun Microsystems, Wipro Infotech and Hughes Software Systems will jointly implement a turnkey solution for DST. The turnkey contract has an approximate value of over $5 million over a five-year period.

Lifetree’s proprietary Billing Platform @Billity 3.0 will replace DST’s multiple billing, Operations Support System (OSS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications with a single unified platform that will deliver all the benefits of a convergent system to DST’s 165,000 subscribers.

By implementing Lifetree’s solution, DST will be able to manage customer care and billing activities for all its services including GSM Mobile, Satellite Television, Broadband, Trunk and Payphone services and any future transition to 2.5G and 3G for its Mobile services, through a single platform. Lifetree’s integrated billing suite will enable DST to significantly improve operational efficiencies and lower costs, while reducing time-to-market for introduction of new, innovative services.
