LIC selects COMAT as 'Corporate Partner'

BANGALORE, INDIA: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) today announced its association with COMAT Technologies Ltd (COMAT), by appointing it as its 'Corporate Partner' to offer wide array of insurance services in the rural market.

The program is scheduled to start in Karnataka and Haryana with immediate effect and will later be extended to Sikkim, Tripura and gradually to the rest of India.

Over 1250 COMAT rural business centers would deploy LIC products and services. To provide more services in the rural market, LIC has chosen COMAT's Rural Business Centers, which is equipped with professional and trained employees to reach out to rural citizens.

The objective of the collaboration is to make information on products and services easily available, create high accessibility for trouble-free premium payments and enable smooth settlement of claims in the rural sector.
