LG hits market with ultra-slim Notebook

NEW DELHI, INDIA: LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd., today announced the launch of its ultra-slim ultra-light 13.3-inch premium notebook – the P300 series, targeted at the performance- and style-minded younger generation.

The notebook weighs only 1.6 kg and is extremely slim with a thickness of only 21 mm and is crafted with a black rose pattern, while the brim is made with an aluminum material and arrives in two colors Black Rose and Wine Rose, said a press release.

It features an Nvidia Geforce 8400M graphics chip, 4GB DDR2 memory, 250GB SATA type hard disk drive and a 2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor

The release mentioned that it provides a clear screen for 3D gaming, video and picture viewing thanks to enhanced brightness and contrast ratio. It also carries a sound reproducing Surround System (SRS), high-output stereo speakers and 1.3-mega-pixel webcam.

Anil Arora, business group head, PCs, GSM and DAV, LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. said, "Consumers today are looking for the right mix of great features and amazing looks while purchasing laptops. He added that the notebook is being positioned amongst the youth and professionals with the concept of providing perfect harmony between mobility and performance.

The P300 notebook is expected to reach the Indian market for Rs. 75000, said the release.
