LexisNexis, CyberMedia enter into pact

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Information and services solutions company LexisNexis has tied up with leading media house CyberMedia to launch Halbury’s Law Monthly (HLM) for quality legal and business information. To begin with, subscription to the magazine will be by invitation only.

The magazine would feature subjects like mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, foreign direct investment, intellectual property, corporate and tax laws. The focus will be on the telecom, outsourcing, insurance, information technology, infrastructure, and retail verticals.

“The magazine aspires to orient its readers to the rising growth potential offered by the corporate and legal world in the current socio-economic environment, both nationally and internationally. It will prove to be an invaluable knowledge source,” said Aalok Wadhwa, managing director, LexisNexis India.

Pradeep Gupta, chairman, CyberMedia Group, said, “This collaboration would prove to be a landmark in the Indian legal publishing landscape and result in a premium knowledge resource for the targeted audience.”
