Lenovo unveils Y510 notebook

BANGALORE: Lenovo has unveiled its new Y510 notebook series. The new series lines up alongside the 'Think' family of products designed for commercial customers.

It introduces a Dolby 4.1 home theater speaker system for enhanced sound output for movies, videos, music and games. An in-built TV tuner card helps ensure instant television connectivity accentuating the multimedia experience.

The Lenovo Y510 series features the latest Veriface face recognition software. It also has user-friendly features like the One Key Recovery to restore factory preload settings.

Anil Philip, executive director, Transaction Business, Lenovo India, said, “The Y510 builds on Lenovo’s legacy and offers a cool PC product for someone who is looking for the right blend of home entertainment along with trendy looks.”

The Y510 also incorporates a 6-in-1 multi-card reader for downloading digital pictures from multiple types of memory cards, slot-in optical drive for ease of use and a 1.3 megapixel integrated camera. The Y510 comes with 160GB SATA hard disk, 1 GB DDR2 RAM, 802.11 Wi-Fi and Vista Home Basic/Premium version.

The Lenovo Y510 notebook is available in all its authorized storefronts for Rs 45,990.
