BANGALORE, INDIA: Lenovo India, on Monday announced a significant program called “Lenovo Comes Home”, to connect deeper with customers and provide them the convenience of service at their doorsteps i.e., onsite services and support.
Customers buying from a range of Lenovo andIdeaPad Series of Consumer and SMB Notebooks between 11th June - 11th July 2010 can avail the benefits of the ‘Lenovo Comes Home’ offer, which upgrades their notebooks to a one year onsite warranty at Rs. 199/- + Service Taxes.
Announcing the new program, Rajesh Lakhani, head, Services Support, Lenovo India, said, “In most cases, availing service is a huge challenge faced by consumers with laptops. Our ‘Lenovo Comes Home’ Program aims to tackle this problem and ensure our customers enjoy best-in-class service at their convenience.”
He added that their robust service and support network will ensure that customers can enjoy complete peace of mind and Lenovo product experience.
This program is valid for the entire range of the Lenovo IdeaPad range of notebooks - which includes the S, Y, Z, U, V series notebooks, Lenovo G and B series notebooks.
To avail the benefits, customers need to register their notebooks under this program within 7 days of their purchase. If a customer faces any service related issues with his notebook, anytime during the warranty period, he would need to contact the Lenovo service and support call center for registering a complaint, said a press release.
The onsite warranty also entitles the customer for a visit from a service engineer on the next business day basis to attend to the issue onsite, at the convenience of the customer.
