Lenovo opens 11 new stores in Maharashtra

BANGALORE, INDIA: Lenovo, India’s second largest PC vendor, on Monday announced the launch of 11 Lenovo exclusive stores across Maharashtra.

The initiative builds on Lenovo’s overarching plan to invest in retail expansion across high potential tier II to tier IV, said a press release.

“Given that Pune has a huge student population, it becomes one of the most important markets for us, as we envisage huge growth potential from the youth segment. This move is in line with our ‘Get closer to consumers’ strategy, highlighting our increased focus on deeper retail penetration across India,” said Rajesh Thadani, director, Consumer Business segment, Lenovo India.

The Pune store spreads across 400 sq feet and will stock all Lenovo products ranging from Notebooks, netbooks, All-in-Ones, tablets and ultrabooks.

Some of the key products available include: Lenovo IdeaPad Z570, Lenovo IdeaPad Z370, Lenovo IdeaPad G570, Lenovo IdeaCentre B320, Lenovo IdeaCentre C320, Lenovo IdeaPad tablet K1 and Lenovo Ultrabook U300s.
