Lenovo launches cost-effective PC in India

BENGALURU, INDIA: Lenovo announced the launch of the ThinkCentre A62 in the Indian market, a cost-effective, environmentally-responsible and manageable desktop PC that provides enterprise and SMB customers with improved total cost of ownership throughout a longer PC lifecycle.

It is equipped with features that increase user productivity and simplify fleet software-image creation, deployment and maintenance.

It features a dash 1.1, a highly touted remote management system and express repair, that allow the system to rapidly fix many system corruptions.

Jaivinder Singh Gill, Executive Director--Relational Business, Lenovo India said, “With ThinkCentre A62, Lenovo is forging one step ahead further by offering the best of breed Think products to enterprise and SMB customers.”

He added that it is designed to deliver performance and enhanced manageability, the ThinkCentre A62 is being offered at an attractive price point. They are sure that customers across industries would find it to be the right solution for varied business needs.

It uses up to 40 percent less electricity than its ThinkCentre predecessor due to the efficiency of the new AMD 15w CPU, Athlon 2650e that is available on select models.

The system is GREENGUARD and EPEAT Gold certified, Energy star 4.0 rated, and has the computer industry’s only 'green; fingerprint keyboard2 made of 35 percent post consumer recycled material.
