Lenovo brings Dual SIM S580 smartphone at Rs. 8,999

Lenovo has announced the launch of S580 smartphone. Running on Android Jelly Bean, the smartphone features 12.7 cms (5) wide-view HD display.

BANGALORE, INDIA: Lenovo has announced the launch of S580, a new addition to its S-series smartphones.

Powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor running on Android Jelly Bean (upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat), the smartphone features 12.7 cms (5) wide-view HD display.

The compact and lightweight design with laser-etched fabric-feel rear cover adds the style quotient, with the 8MP rear and 2MP front cameras. The rear camera features scene detection, panorama, geo-tagging, best shot, smile shot, and HDR options.

The smartphone supports 3G and provides 2150mAh battery that roughly gives 14 hours of talk time and up to 444 hours of standby time on 3G network.

The dual SIM S580 has an integrated 8 GB storage and is expandable upto 32 GB. It also comes loaded with Lenovo Premium DOit Apps that let you transfer data to friends, speed up your device, and let your contacts sync seamlessly.

Sudhin Mathur, director- smartphones, Lenovo India, said,  “The S580 is an amalgamation of stylish design, blazing fast processing speeds, and integrated Lenovo proprietary apps, making it a unanimous choice for users looking at smartphones at a sub 10k price category."

It will be available in black, silver and gold colors. Priced at Rs. 8,999, the device will be available for pre-order exclusively on Snapdeal from today.
