Lenovo brings business oriented ThinkPad tablet

BANGALORE, INDIA: Lenovo today announced its new ThinkPad tablet which is built for corporate customers.

 The ThinkPad Tablet, being part of Lenovo’s business-oriented line, comes with with a digitizer pen and is loaded with a long list of  applications.

The ThinkPad Tablet carries many of the design cues found on the ThinkPad notebooks like a satin black casing, clean lines and a no-frills design.

Lenovo said that the ThinkPad Tablet will be shipped in US next month with pre-ordering starting on August 2. The 16GB WiFi model is priced at $479 sans digitizer pen and $509 with it. The 32GB model runs $589 and ships with the digitizer pen. Lenovo has not yet announced the prices or release dates.
