"Our exceptional technology allows electronics to be put on flexible plastic film, which can get you the thickness of a sheet of paper. The combination stable, high performance organic thin-film transistors with passive elements will create truly flexible and cost-effective electronics over large and small surfaces” said FlexEnable.

Although the screens do not currently have touch screen function abilities, they can be operated by tapping on function buttons placed on the sides of the device, to scroll through the icons displayed on the screen. FlexEnable's prototype flexible LCD screen makes use of plastic transistors to create organic liquid crystal 4.7-inch display screens.

The leading tech giants like Samsung and LG are already offering consumers curved smart phones; plastic technology may just be the next big thing in buyer technology. Flexible technology is not restricted to wearable devices, from wearable’s to peculiar shaped Smartphone’s to car displays; this device can be conventional to the curvy car interiors.

FlexEnable is not graphing to create a separate new product; as an alternative the consumer tech firm plans to team up with other electronic goods manufacturers to bring the technology to the market, according to the company's representative Paul Cain.
