Lava launches new tablet with Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2, price Rs 8,000

LAVA International Limited, today announced the launch of its E-Tab XTRON+ tablet, a feature-packed Android tablet priced at sub-INR 8,000 price point.

The XTRON+ tablet, stated to be the first tablet to run on the latest Android version Jelly Bean 4.2.2, extends the legacy of the highly successful E-Tab XTRON line-up from Lava.

The XTRON+ offers all the features that makes it one of the most complete tablets to date. It is powered by a fast 1.5 GHz dual core processor and 1 GB RAM. With an internal memory of 8 GB, that is expandable up to 32 GB, it gives users enough space to store their multimedia content. Allowing for greater connectivity and convenience, the tablet features dual cameras (Front 0.3 MP and Rear 2.0 MP).

The latest device also offers video output for Full 1080p HD with HDMI v1.4 to let users enjoy the tablet experience on a bigger screen.

The tablet even provides access to valuable content courtesy pre-bundled tie-ups with online content providers Edukart.com, Meritnation.com and BIGFlix. Students can learn via the free Vedic Maths package and discounts of up to INR 4,000 offered by Meritnation.com or through the free Career Booster package and the 20 pc discount on Edukart courses offered by the online player. On the entertainment front, XTRON+ brings great offers on BIGFlix content for the users.
