Lanco Infratech chooses Juniper for campus devp

BANGALORE, INDIA: Networking company Juniper Networks announced that it has deployed campus and data center network infrastructure for Lanco Infratech Ltd.

Juniper Networks will deploy its Simply Connected portfolio, which includes switching, wireless LAN, security and management devices, at the new head office of Lanco's Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Division in Gurgaon.

The new LANCO EPC Head Office can accommodate up to 2,000 staff and its data centre supports SAP enterprise management systems, and unified communications.

The solution includes Juniper Networks' EX8208 Ethernet switches, EX4200 Ethernet switches with Virtual Chassis fabric technology, WLC800R wireless LAN controller and WLA522 wireless LAN access points, SRX650 services gateways, and its NSMXpress appliance.
