LanBit to offer e-procurement

PUNE: Close on the heels of the launch of lanbitdirect.com in Pune and the

neighboring twin towns of Pimpri and Chinchwad, datacom major LanBit India Pvt.

Ltd. has introduced e-procurement of IT products for corporates in Pune.

Announcing the service, LanBit India managing director Manoj Kumar said,

"With the launch of e-procurement services for corporates in Pune, LanBit

hopes to capture five per cent of the IT products and services business of

Indian corporates. To support this initiative, LanBit has opened a full-fledged

technical sales support and demonstration center at Pune.

Manoj Kumar said this would be a test launch for the e-procurement

initiative. Following the response from the market, the company plans to follow

this effort with subsequent launches in Mumbai and Delhi.
