KYOCERA expands ECOSYS series with A4 MFPs

LONDON, UK: KYOCERA Document Solutions UK Ltd, today strengthens its ECOSYS portfolio with the launch of a complete new A4 MFP family. Four new 40ppm devices replace existing products and two new additions, with print speeds of up to 60ppm, enter at the top end of the range.

Trevor Maloney, product marketing manager, KYOCERA Document Solutions UK Ltd said: "Our new MFPs offer the levels of performance usually only associated with A3 devices and all six models are designed for demanding workgroup environments with an average monthly print volume of between 2,000 and 15,000 pages. A new high performance controller boasts high standard memory across the family and our Mobile Print app and AirPrint capability means end users are in control of their documents wherever they are."

In addition to a host of new features, the range incorporates KYOCERA's ECOSYS technology which lowers waste generated during the life of the product with its durable imaging system and up to 500,000 page drum.

Designed to meet the new Blue Angel (RAL-UZ 171) and Energy Star 2.0 accreditations, the overall Typical Electricity Consumption (TEC) values of the range have been reduced by up to 43 percent. The ergonomics of each device have also been improved to deliver quieter printing and scanning.

Scanning functionality is improved and security features have been enhanced across the range. The 75 page document processor and standard scanning of up to 60ipm give extraordinary performance, while the A6 scanning is perfect for vertical markets such as healthcare and the finance sector.

Security standards are improved with encryption of PDF documents - a new feature for the A4 devices which ensures that documents remain secure, even when sending via email.

The colour touch panel MFPs integrate seamlessly into a wide range of powerful business applications, each driven by KYOCERA's HyPAS software platform to create bespoke customer solutions and document workflows.
