Kurlon comforts on SAP for biz efficiency

BANGALORE: SAP India, the leading provider of business software solutions has announced that Kurlon Limited, a leader in the home comforts segment in the country, has decided to deploy mySAP ERP to enable operational efficiencies in its core business. With this, Kurlon joins a growing list of CPG (Consumer Product Group) companies using SAP solutions in India including prestigious names like HLL, Parle, Eureka Forbes, Tata Tea, Videocon, Heinz, Voltas, Aravind Brands and Adani Wilmar.

"SAP's time tested processes and systems and the availability of the Industry Best Practices in the solutions, made SAP an easy choice for us," said T Sudhakar Pai, spokesperson, Kurlon Ltd. "We are confident that the mySAP ERP implementation will help us cope with business dynamics and also facilitate exploring of diverse business opportunities in the domestic and the global markets as well."

mySAP ERP at Kurlon will be implemented across six locations by Unisoft Infotech, and will be completed by the second week of September 2005. The first phase of the implementation will address Supply & distribution, FICO and MM will and the second phase will cater to PP, PM and QM.
