MUMBAI, INDIA: Kronos Incorporated, the global provider of workforce management solutions, has revealed its plans to increase the number engineering staff in India for its newly opened development facility at Noida.
“We have a development board and when I came on this board about six months back, we were setting up our development facility at Noida to expand our presence in India and doubling the capacity,” James Thomas, Kronos’ country manager for India told CyberMedia News in an interview.
Currently Kronos has a headcount of 250
“We are about 250 in total currently, among which 150 are engineering staffs. And in the next 24 months, we should double our headcount in India,” Thomas said.
Has a development facility at Noida
Kronos has set up a large research and development facility at 3Cs Knowledge Boulevard IT Park in Noida, in last October, apart from offices in Bangalore and Mumbai.
“Significant expansion is happening at Noida facility, where we have a much larger space with 350 people for peer development work. It's important to have engineering correlation in the emerging markets and helps to cater solutions in these markets,” he added.
According to Thomas, Kronos has about 40-45 customers across India, which include multinational clients predominantly in manufacturing and distribution sectors. Also, the company has penetrated into other sectors such healthcare and retail.
