Bangalore: Krone Communications Ltd. and Prestolite Wire Corporation have jointly launched TrueNet, the cabling system to prevent throughput loss in local area networks. TrueNet is tuned to protect the total efficiency of the network.

The two companies are working together as a result of KRONE AG's merger with US-based Gen Tek Inc. TrueNet goes beyond ensuring Category 5, 5e or 6 compliance. The structured cabling system comes with a 5-year throughput warranty guaranteeing zero bit error rate performance over and above the 20-year all-inclusive industry standards compliance guarantee.

"Today's high speed networks can bring huge productivity advantages to an organization," said Krone CEO Bala K. Chandran. New industry research shows that many companies have undiagnosed problems where mismatched components cause impedance in their Ethernet cabling systems. These problems can diminish network performance without the users ever realizing that it is the cabling system that is causing data errors and slowing down throughput. TrueNet solves these undiagnosed problems, which occur even in cabling.
