NEW DELHI: Kodak Digital and Applied Imaging (D&AI), a business unit of Kodak India Ltd, has announced the setting up of service centers in selected cities in India to cater to the needs of customers owning Kodak Digital cameras. These service centers based in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata provide repair service for Kodak digital cameras, including those from other cities within the region. The service centers have been set up in association with M/s Rashi Peripherals. Kodak in Australia has provided the technical training in repair service of digital cameras.
This move is in line with Kodak's continuous effort to enhance quality and choice for consumers whether they are buying or repairing their valued digital cameras. "Kodak is committed to the concept of Ease of Use in all its products, including the new digital cameras, which are part of our EasyShare system. We would like to offer our customers the same experience of 'ease' in the after-sales service requirements", said Meena Wadhwani, Vice President, Kodak Service & Support, Kodak India Ltd.
All Kodak cameras carry a warranty against manufacturing defects for one year from the date of purchase and hence for any service requirement, the actual proof of purchase would need to be provided. These service centers will allow customers to get repair service for their Kodak digital cameras under warranty from the centers mentioned below, as well as for the models that are now out of warranty, the latter will be on a chargeable basis.
