Kodak launches latest scanners in India

MUMBAI, INDIA: Kodak on Monday launched the i2000 & i5000 series scanners in India which enable customers to capture and use valuable information from electronic and paper documents.

These scanners will bring to the market the latest technology and features based on customer feedback, the company claimed in a press release.

Akhilesh Saxena, GM for Kodak Document Imaging Solutions, says, “The Indian economy presents exciting growth opportunity with the increasing requirement of turnkey scanning solutions, especially in booming sectors like BFSI, Healthcare, Education, etc. Kodak offers the widest variety of end to end solutions tailored for different needs, from small office to high volume enterprise requirements.”

The new i2000 series scanner is a versatile scanner for different speed ranges. They feature zero start time with dual LED illumination along with Kodak Perfect Page imaging technology and smart touch functionality.

The new i5000 series scanners are designed for least human interaction for the complete scanning process. They have a unique single component design with touch screen panel for operational efficiency, the company claimed.

The new Kodak Capture Pro 3.0 System has a host of additional features like comprehensive integration with Microsoft SharePoint with new improved wizard, new database lookup, among others.
