NEW DELHI: Independent memory module manufacturer

Kingston Technology Company Inc. has set up the India sales team for both its

memory module and flash products and also firmed up its distribution channel and

marketing strategy for India.

The Kingston India team will forge relationships with customers throughout the
country and complement the authorized distributors of Kingston products in

India, including AA Infoways, Avnet, Ingram Micro, Kobian and Transtek.

With extensive domain knowledge, deep insights, and rich industry experience,
Rajesh Panicker, country manager, Kingston, will head the India sales team in

its drive to capitalize on India's growing storage requirements.

"The Indian market is showing signs of rapid expansion and we believe that the
time is right for Kingston to enhance its presence in the country, in order to

cater to this growing market. I am pleased to announce that Kingston has set up

the Indian sales team that covers the whole India market. The representative

offices based in Bangalore, Delhi, and Mumbai aim to provide the local market

with faster and better service,” said Scott Chen, vice-president, APAC Business

Development, Kingston Technology. “Our revamped distribution strategy will not

only help us well service our customers in India, but also enable us to counter

the growing menace of counterfeit memory products,” he added.

With a structured distribution channel in place, Kingston plans to launch
various marketing campaigns that are aimed at enhancing Kingston's brand image

in the country and educating customers on the need to buy “genuine” Kingston

memory products from authorized Kingston distributors in India.
