In the year 1900 Lord Kelvin said that there is nothing new to be discovered in physics now, All that remains is more and more precise measurement. Later Max Plank and Albert Einstein shaped the 21st century and redefined physics.

Speaking at the 13th Annual C-Change Award Hirak Mukherjee, Technology Transformation leader, Sify Technologies highlighted the prerequisites for a successful digital transformation.

Key ingredients are: Complex Event Processing, Thingalytics and Context Aware Computing.

We were born in the age of computers and this generation is born in the age of smartphones, so technically they are more connected to the virtual world than us. Human beings are once again at the center of attraction and the whole concept of digital transformation depends on how you deliver a better service to device users.

IoT is making things like beacons/stick-on possible. Event driven analytics is being used by schools and colleges. Experience is now an integral part of product and services.  Digital footprints around presence and behavior are integral to build digital persona and IoT helps to construct the digital footprints through location/time/motion track.
