Ketan Patel Joins Mswipe As CEO; Manish Patel moves onto the Managing Director chair

FinTech Mswipe, today announced the appointment of Ketan Patel as the Chief Executive Officer. Founder Manish Patel will move into the role of Managing Director. Patel has built the company over the last decade as one of India's largest POS players. Manish Patel further welcomed Ketan to the team and remarked on Ketan's experience in delivering operational excellence, achieving revenue and profitability. “I am a firm believer of constant evolution and adaptability,” he further added. “I am confident that Ketan will spearhead Mswipe on to an exciting, high-growth journey as we expand to provide credit and other financial services in addition to our core payments services to our customers.”

About Ketan Patel

Ketan brings close to 20 years of entrepreneurial and corporate experience in the fintech and BFSI industry. As the Executive Director and CEO of CASHe, Ketan led the company to become India’s largest digital lending company for salaried millennials.

Before his entrepreneurial venture, Ketan worked with Kotak Mahindra Bank for over 18 years. There, he had an illustrious career heading some of its key portfolios. They ranged from Private Banking, Wealth Management, Composite Business Solutions and E-commerce. He was also instrumental in setting up the Private Banking Business for the Kotak Group in the UK. At Mswipe, he will lead the company through a strategic transformation; by accelerating its operational excellence to provide seamless digital payments; by building value-added financial services including credit, insurance among others for MSMEs.

Ketan has received several industry recognitions for his leadership. He also received the Young Entrepreneurs Award from The Economic Times in 2020. WCRC- The Malcolm McDonald Academy also recognised him as India's Most Trusted CEO 2020. For his excellence in Finance - Leadership, he received recognition from Finext Conference in Dubai 2019. He also received the ‘CEO of the Year’ award at the Asia Leadership Awards in 2019.
