Kern Schools, headquartered in Bakersfield, California, is a credit union in Kern County with over 160,000 Members and more than $1.2 billion in assets.

VSoft offers image-based check and payment processing solutions on a unified platform. VSoft's Branch Capture, selected by Kern Schools, will capture, correct, and perform preliminary validation on the documents in a batch of deposited items. Built-in, advanced recognition and automated image repair technology will reduce data entry and operator intervention while also reducing image quality return items.

"As Kern Schools has grown over the years, we have remained focused on our primary goal - serving our Members," said Michael George, Senior Vice President of Operations & Marketing at Kern Schools. "VSoft's solutions provide the technology needed to optimize efficiency across our branches. In today's technology-driven environment, there is no question electronic item processing is a necessity. The question is which of the many software vendors providing this technology is actually investing in their solutions and is committed to giving their customers the type of service we provide our Members. For us, VSoft was the answer."

Kern Schools will leverage VSoft's data center, VServe, which as claimed, delivers peak efficiency in a secure, reliable environment. Through an outsource deployment model, Kern Schools benefits from reduced expenses, improved operational efficiency, and a predictable cost structure, it added.
