Kerala CM suggests NRI inclusion in Aadhaar purview

KOCHI, INDIA: While addressing the ongoing Pravasi Bharatiya Divas at Kochi, Chief Minister, Oomen Chandy has suggested the Centre to include NRI's in the purview of Aadhaar card.

Chandy said, the cards can be issued to NRIs after completing necessary process in India.

The state government has also taken steps to amend Kerala Panchayati Raj and Municipal Acts so as to enable NRK's to take part in the local body polls.
