Kavveri inks 10-year deal to build wireless solns

MUMBAI, INDIA: Kavveri Telecom Products, a wireless subsystem manufacturer, under its subsidiary Kavveri Telecom Infrastructure Ltd has signed a 10-year agreement with a pan-India cellular operator to build wireless solutions.

Kavveri Telecom Products is a manufacturer of RF products and antennas in India and its customers include operators and OEMS including Ericcson, Alcatel Lucent, Nokia Siemens Networks, RCom, Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, Aircel, BSNL etc.

Shivakumar Reddy, MD, Kavveri Telecom Products Limited, said: “Given the high costs of setting up towers and the loss of signals within enclosed areas and to provide capacity and coverage enhancements within large buildings, in-building wireless solutions is the way forward for the operators. As pioneers and leader in this field we aim to maximize our reach.”
