Kaspersky Lab intros enhanced security soln

PARIS, FRANCE: Kaspersky Lab, editor of computer protection solutions against all forms of cyber-malware (phishing, botnet, spam) today announced that it is partnering with Agematis and adds Steekup, the online most advanced online backup solution, to its new versions 7.0 of Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Kaspersky Internet Security.

Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 bring a triple protection against known and unknown internet malware. They fight effectively against viruses, worms, trojan horses, spywares, keyloggers and rootkits. They are also an excellent defense aganist cyber-crimiminals trying to steal your private and confidential data, Kaspersky said in a statement.

Steekup offers the online backup of data. Users can select the files they wish to protect, like Word documents, Excel sheets, Outlook email messages and address book, photos, music and video files and more.

It also offers 2GB of free online storage with steekup and Kaspersky Lab saves the data for all the user.

Stéphane Le Hir, director of Kaspersky Lab France, said, “We identify every day more than 200 new malwares. For the past 10 years, we developed some of the most effective solutions for fighting cybercrime. It is essential to associate them with a backup solution, allowing our users to restore their data. We choose steekup for its reliability and simplicity.”

The steekup offering, with an online storage capacity of 2GB, is included with Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 and Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0, excluding upgrades. It is available at €39,95 and €69,95 respectively. It is available via the Kaspersky Lab resellers network, as well as from the Kaspersky online store.
