Kale Consultants Ltd. has won its third contract for outsourced revenue
accounting services from Canada-based airline Canadian North within a year of
commissioning the airline processing center (APC) in Mumbai.
This service is already being provided to Qatar Airways and Air Luxor.
As a part of this contract, Kale will use its revenue accounting solution
Revera that recently won the prestigious ATTIS award for the `Best Revenue
Accounting Solution` to the airline industry.
Imaging Technology will be used to scan the airline coupons at Canadian North’s
office in Canada that will be transmitted to Kale`s APC for processing.
The company reported profits for the financial year 2001-02 against loss in
the corresponding period last year. The airline segment reported a growth of 140
per cent on a quarterly basis. During FY02, the airline division grew 157 per
cent to Rs 30.42 crore from Rs 11.84 crore in the last fiscal.
The company reported a net profit of Rs 2.03 crore for the year ended March
31, 2002 compared to a net loss of Rs 6.73 crore in the year ended March 31,
2002.
