Kakkar elected as President Ghaziabad association

GHAZIABAD, INDIA: The eight annual elections of Ghaziabad Computers Association saw Arun Kakkar of Nu-Tek Computers emerge as the President for the third year in a row. Kakkar was unanimously chosen for the post during the elections held on April 25.

The elections witnessed participation from a total of 50 members. The other office bearers for the year 2009-10 include Sanjay Goel of Memory Solutions as VP and Gopal Sharma of Apson Computer as the Secretary. Harish Gupta of Express Computers was elected as the Joint Secretary, while Vaibhav Jain of Shree Jee Enterprises will hold the post of Treasurer.

On his appointment, Kakkar shared, “One of the first activities that we will take up on a priority basis is holding a trade fair in the region, which has been pending for a long time now. This fair will be held in association with dealers and we will also try and approach some vendors to sponsor the event. The event will also create awareness about various IT products among end customers.”
