Kainth to head Irdeto India operation

NEW DELHI: Irdeto today announced the appointment of Sanjiv Kainth, as the country manager, India and area sales director for South Asia.

As country manager of Irdeto's operations in India, Kainth would be responsible for overseeing all aspect of Irdeto’s presence in India, including serving Irdeto’s existing and prospective customer base and managing day-to-day business operations.

A 23-year veteran in the industry, Kainth is an engineer specializing in Television Technology and has rich experience in various capacities within the television domain from conventional television manufacturing to digital broadcast related.

He started his career in 1984 with Onida, which later went on to become a leader in the television market in India. He was also with Thomson’s set top box business in India and also oversaw the overall administration of the company in his capacity as a director on board of the Indian entity.
