K7 Computing launches training prgm

BANGALORE, INDIA: K7 Computing, an information security solutions company that offers real-time virus protection, launched a unique training initiative for service engineers across India.

The training program is aimed at enabling the service engineers to understand the technical process of installing and updating the antivirus software. The initiative is also aimed at creating awareness amongst the end-consumers about the importance and advantages of using antivirus products.

As part of the initiative, K7 Computing will identify between 30 and 50 engineers each, across 100 towns in India and train them on the need for security products, how to handle various techniques at the time of software installation, procedures for procuring updates as well as create awareness on other technical difficulties that end-consumers are likely to undergo.

Speaking about the initiative, Srinivasan, senior vice president, K7 Computing Pvt. Ltd., said, “K7 Computing has always worked towards educating the end-consumers about the importance and advantages of information security. We believe it is important for us to educate the service engineers, thereby increasing the awareness of the end-customers about the information security.”

Through the initiative, K7 Computing plans to create awareness about the need for information security amongst the service engineers, thereby enabling the engineers to share this understanding with the end-customers, who they interact with on a regular basis added the release.
