Just Rams eyes Indian market

NEW DELHI: UK-based Just Rams plc, makers of Integral brand of memory products, is set to roll out its entire portfolio of products in the Indian market.

Philip Stellwagen, export manager with Just Rams, told CyberMedia News that the company’s Integral brand aimed to offer high quality digital products and value for the end user.

He claimed of a 30 per cent market share across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), where it has a presence in over 50 countries.

“The memory card market in India is in its early stage. Though we have a entered into the country a couple of years ago, the telecom boom has given us the confidence to aggressively pursue rolling out of our entire Integral brand of products,” he said.

Stellwagen said that the success of Just Rams had been in its time-tested supply-chain model in the EMEA markets, and added that the company would be replicating the success formula in the country.

“Our supply-chain model combined with the consistent supply from our UK facility has made us successful in EMEA and we would be replicating it in India, especially in Tiet-2 and Tier-3 cities,” he said.

He said the company was aiming at 5 per cent market share in the first year of operations in India.

“There are endless opportunities in India, especially in terms of the pre-loaded memory cards, which we are planning to launch in the country,” Stellwagen informed adding that the cards would be sold with pre-loaded content such as video games, apart from video and audio content.

Just Rams would also be introducing company-specific memory cards to be used in networking and mobile space. The company also intends to introduce next generation technology of in-car navigation system using GPS, with memory cards being fitted to cars.
