The open solution set focuses to provide real-time threat defense with network-wide visibility and control at scale to reduce risk and increase productivity, all while significantly reducing total cost of ownership (TCO), said a press release.

Based on a dynamic, open security infrastructure, Juniper’s Adaptive Threat Management solutions would leverage new and enhanced technologies based on a networking product portfolio, it added.

“Implementation of IT security today requires intelligent solutions that can coordinate across multiple devices, correlate threats from the edge to the core and adapt in real-time,” said, Jeff Wilson, Infonetics Research.

The adaptive threat management solutions include new Juniper Networks SRX3000 series services gateways, network access control (NAC) solution, unified access control (UAC) 3.0; secure access (SA) SSL VPN 6.4 technology, security threat response manager (STRM) 2008.3 and network and security manager (NSM) 2008.

The solution would enable customers to significantly reduce sophisticated attacks that evade traditional point security products and have choice and flexibility in delivering cost-efficient and advanced security capabilities, said the release.

Through the SRX services Gateways, organizations could save more than 80 percent in power consumption and rack space.

The new solution is based on a flexible 'pay-as-you-grow' deployment model that can simultaneously reduce risk, lower TCO and increase productivity, added the release.
