Juniper expands India enterprise team

NEW DELHI: Juniper Networks, Inc., a provider in networking solutions, today announced the appointment of Mohammed Hayath as head of the switching and advanced technologies business for India and SAARC.

He would be responsible of sales, technical operations and business development, said a press release.

It stated that the team headed by Hayath would pioneer solutions that harness Juniper’s high-performance switching, application acceleration and unified access control technologies.

The team also drives market education and solutions design.

“We are seeing Indian enterprises relying more and more heavily on their networks for growth and productivity,” said Nagendra Venkaswamy, managing director, Juniper Networks India and SAARC.

He added that Hayath’s role is to address the customers’ unique business requirements by creating secure, reliable networks optimized for today’s converged services.

Prior to Juniper he was associated with Cisco, where he was in charge of systems engineering, regional engineering management and business development for the security business in India and SAARC.

Hayath is a graduate in Computer Science from the Mysore University.
