AURORA,USA: From training videos to technology tutorials to corporate culture pieces, the concept of HR departments utilizing video is certainly nothing new. What is new, however, is using video as a way to attract candidates to an organization in the first place. This is where Digi-Me comes in.

Digi-Me, under the parent company JSTN, is the first and only HR video production company that takes traditional text job posts and turns them into professional, 60-second, newscast-style videos (called job videos) that can stream onto any type of device.

The purpose is to make job-hunting faster, easier, and more appealing to the technologically savvy, pressed-for-time modern workforce. From the recruiter's side, the benefits of this type of video include higher SEO, expanded candidate reach, increased candidate self-selection, and faster time-to-hire, all of which add up to significant time and cost savings.

"When it comes to filling critical roles, time is always of the essence," said Lindsay Stanton, Digi-Me chief client officer, "which is why we created job videos in the first place-to help get employment messaging out to candidates in the fastest, most effective way possible."

This ease of use is now available on the recruiters' end as well thanks to the latest Digi-Me technology, a client-facing content management system (CMS). The Digi-Me CMS is strategically designed to benefit companies of all sizes, from small businesses with hard-to-fill positions to global corporations and staffing companies that do high volume hiring, including positions such as sales representatives and manufacturing jobs.

To access the CMS, recruiters must first log-in to the Digi-Me portal. From there, they can submit content for new videos, update existing videos in real time, and view up-to-the-minute metrics reports showing where candidates are viewing and applying to their jobs.

There is also a bulk upload feature that allows clients to input large quantities of data with little-to-no administrative hassle. And since the Digi-Me CMS is a cloud-based system, recruiters can do all of this anytime, anywhere, and from any device.

Moreover, the automation eliminates the need for manual upload and distribution, so video job reports are up and running immediately upon completion. This faster turnaround translates into higher SEO and ultimately more candidates viewing the videos.
