Joker trailer gets 1 mn views on YouTube

NEW DELHI, INDIA: As the Web 2.0 is turning out to be a new panacea for rookies, the ever-charming stardom is no exception to it. With new social media trends coming to fore, YouTube, is perhaps, spiraling into a new platform. 

The movie 'Joker' is all set to hit screens on August 31, but the official trailer, released by UTV Motion Pictures, on July 11 on YouTube has already set online users on fire.  

The three-minute promo on YouTube, during the course of 10 days, has attracted one million online visitors. It's a funny prelude to the upcoming movie that would instigate glee.

The 100th film of Akshay Kumar, 'Joker' is one of the greatly anticipated movies of the year. Directed by Shirish Kunder, this sci-fi adventure film's star cast includes Sonakshi Sinha, Minisha Lamba and Shreyas Talpade.

UTV on YouTube, recounts the movie 'Joker' as: “The film is an "out of this world" comedy about an NRI (Akshay Kumar) and his wife (Sonakshi Sinha) who return home to discover that their village has dropped off the map of India.”

To put it back on the world's radar, the production house said, they must now forge an unlikely alliance of crazy villagers and aliens that will turn their village into the biggest "tamasha" the universe has ever seen!
