BANGALORE: JobAccord, a global recruiter of Information Technology Professionals and Non IT Professionals, has commenced its India operations. The company, a fully owned subsidiary of Aceon Tech Inc., USA also started its BPO operations to cater to the overseas staffing and recruitment. JobAccord enables and enhances human capital recruiting process and delivers through its innovative web based application — RPMS(Recruitment Process Management System) and a large in-house recruitment team.

JobAccord also started its Recruitment Process Outsourcing Services (RPO), which is a key component of Human Resource Outsourcing. The RPO is done through a combination of online job boards and the in-house recruitment team. The 50-seater RPO based in Bangalore will primarily cater to the JobAccord customers based in the United States.

JobAccord allows the employer to post the requirements free of cost and then identifies the right candidate through a talent search methodology on various parameters and updates it on a 'Hiring Matrix'. Employers can review the hiring Matrix online and make the final selection without going through a long hiring process. JobAccord simply automates and facilitates the process of Recruitment Supply Chain.

"Online recruiting is the in thing in developed countries and is gaining momentum the world over, along with the in house recruitment process. Gartner Dataquest research reports estimated the BPO market at $110 billion in the year 2002 growing at 9.5% CAGR to $173 billion in 2007. In India too, it has tremendous potential. This is evident from the increasing number of requirements being posted on our site by the employers and also the number of job seekers registering with us. Indian recruiters, both corporate and recruitment firms are catching up fast with this automated mode of recruitment, due to its obvious benefits like easy to register, speed of recruitment, online testing systems and cost-effectiveness", said Mr. P Chandra Mohan, Executive Director, JobAccord India.

JobAccord has developed a web-based proprietary software called 'Recruitment Process Management System' that includes a Job Board, Online Testing System, Talent Search and Applicant Tracking System. It has also introduced "Video Resume" as a part of 'Smart Resume' harnessing the use of Multimedia to present the candidates to the employers.
