NEW DELHI: JK Technosoft has entered the SMS Commerce market by launching

Solagem Messenger through a tie-up with Solagem Oy, Finland. JK Technosoft would

be promoting the product through its division, JK iNet, which will deploy

Solagem Messenger to provide device independent access to corporate databases

with particular emphasis on the booming SMS market in India which opens up many

opportunities for mobile business services.

Solagem Messenger is a wireless application gateway (WAG) that keeps the
company, its employees and its customers up to date. Information that is

personally important can be delivered to the right people at the right time via

GSM or WAP phone, PDA, e-mail, web-browser, or PC desktop.

Databases, files, OLAP cubes and web pages can be automatically monitored to

push messages and alerts. Pull services allow specific data to be requested and

retrieved to any device. Update services allow information to be sent directly

to operational systems. Messenger can also act as the front-end to a JMS system,

processing, converting or forwarding XML messages.

Solagem Messenger is a versatile application that makes it easy for business

to take full advantage of a wireless environment. Solagem's focus is on

developing innovative wireless solutions. JK iNet is the e- and m-commerce
