Jivox hires sales talent in India

BANGALORE, INDIA: Jivox, an online video advertising company, today said that it has reported a dramatic growth in its business and is planning to expand its sales and client servicing teams.

The company has expanded its sales team in India by hiring industry’s top performers, claimed a press release. Amit Vichare, previously with Rediff.com, joins as GM - Ad Sales (West) and will focus on BFSI and Auto. Rahul Tambewagh, previously with People Interactive for Middle-East, handling online ad sales for Shaadi.com, joins as GM - Ad Sales (West) and will focus on IT and Telecom.

Vikas Katoch, previously with Hungama Digital Media Group, joins as GM - Ad Sales (North) and will focus on IT, Telecom and Entertainment, the company, the release added.

Naren Nachiappan, managing director India at Jivox, said that Jivox was seeing exponential growth in the video advertising space with 300 per cent growth quarter-on-quarter in our business.

“With the visibility we have into the next quarter and the following year’s business, we feel this is the right time to consolidate our position by expanding our team with high calibre, proven performers,” Nachiappan added.

Jivox is an online video advertising platform that enables conversations between brands and online viewers. The company is privately held, and is headquartered in San Mateo, California with a development office in Bangalore and sales offices in Delhi and Mumbai.
