How to order on JioMart?

There are two ways in which you can order through JioMart.

1. You can visit the website jiomart.com. Then, enter your Pincode to check if they deliver in your city. Add items to your cart and pay for it. Currently, the company is only taking prepaid orders. Users can pay via JioMoney wallet apart from standard options including other wallets, card payment, net banking and cash on delivery. Also, initially, they delivered it in two days, but owing to the pandemic, you might get late.

2. If you are from Navi Mumbai, Thane and Kalyan, you can use this number and order through WhatsApp. The number to order on Jio is 88500 08000. Just drop a "Hi" on this number and the bot will do the rest.

Where does JioMart deliver?

While the number of cities JioMart is now serving is not confirmed. But you can enter your pin code and know if they deliver in your city. Certain cities that we know off are Chandigarh, Dehradun, Dhanbad, Gwalior, Kota, Ludhiana, Surat, Jaipur etc. Customers in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata etc can order as well.

How does it compete with other online stores?

JioMart will compete with vertical online marketplaces such as BigBasket and Grofers in grocery delivery. Recently, Zomato and Swiggy have also joined the grocery delivery vertical. Horizontal competitors also include Amazon Pantry and Flipkart Supermart.

But, Jio has represented the Indian business scenario for very long. Regardless of the rising competition, Reliance has acquired a name due to its quality service.

Further, Jio claims that they offer all products at 5 per cent below MRP. Interestingly, the platform als0 claims that all products listed are sourced directly from registered farmers. With this, the company is moving farmers online to sell their products and boost their business.

Is Jio Mart and Reliance Fresh same?

No, but both are the part of Reliance Retail. Infact, Reliance Fresh has its home delivery service. While Jio Mart is an online store, reliance fresh is a physical store where you can shop now and the store will deliver it later.
